I see myself as a hands-on designer, where both beauty and comfort are central to my design philosophy. The way jewelry feels when worn is essential. I've always envisioned jewelry as something that is beautifully lived in, like an old friend, evoking feelings of familiarity and happiness. I am captivated by women's jewelry, particularly its connections to memory and individual storytelling through style and personal adornment. My journey into designing sterling silver jewelry began in 2016 when I taught myself the craft of silversmithing. Starting from scratch, I gradually acquired each tool and material, piece by piece. Jewelry has always been my passion; as people often say, "I always knew."
Nature, people, and the world around me inspire my work. I seek the same authentic qualities in my designs, whether it's the feel of hand-stamped and textured silver or the raw beauty of a gemstone, there are parallels to the world we live in. Authenticity and originality resonate deeply with me, and I cherish the connection between jewelry and the people who wear my original jewelry designs.
I enjoy collaborating with lapidarians who share my passion for quality and craftsmanship. I prefer my hand-picked gemstones to reflect their genuine natural characteristics and the personality of the stones. Jewelry is part of my heritage, forged in it's own way, through my family for generations. I use the finest materials to create designs that will not only stand the test of time and wear but also embody uniqueness and originality in the present moment. My pieces are designed to encapsulate the wearer's story, jewelry that can be cherished and loved for many years.
I find joy in hearing the stories behind the jewelry women wear. Initiating conversations with women and asking, "Tell me about your earrings," always yields enthusiastic response. Women are eager to share how their pieces were passed down or discovered in an antique market somewhere. Jewelry holds our memories, conveys emotions, and carries our stories through time. It gives these crucial parts of life a constant place to reside, despite change. I craft pieces that reflect the best of our personal heritage, creating timeless, functional designs that are cherished, embodying quality, beauty, and often a lot of sentiment.
I have a deep appreciation for tradition, craftsmanship, and creativity. My designs are meant to integrate into the real world, your world. They are intended to be worn anytime, enjoyed in spaces where thoughtful design meets comfort and style.
